Cycling: Hessiche Rundfunk will broadcast the German road championship live on June 29th. According to its own information, the broadcaster wants to show the decision in a two-hour program from 12 p.m. to 14 p.m.

The organizers in Baunatal were also pleased about this announcement. “This is a great confirmation of our efforts [...] and an acknowledgment of the regained popularity of cycling in Germany", according to the official statement.

The course in Baunatal should mainly suit the sprinters. Without a doubt, the favorites include John Degenkolb and his Giant Shimano teammate Marcel Kittel. Both want to prove their form before the Tour de France and make life difficult for reigning champion André Greipel.
