The Tour de France is fast approaching and the riders are in the final stages of their preparation. So does Chris Froome, who will contest this year's tour as the defending champion. He now publicly complained on his Twitter account about the irregular doping controls, which are indispensable especially shortly before such an important race. "Three tour favorites are training in Tenerife and in two and a half weeks nobody will be checked - that's very disappointing", says the Sky team driver. Like Vincenzo Nibali and Alberto Contador, he is currently preparing for the three-week tour on Spain's highest mountain. "I just think it's in everyone's interest to prove we're clean", according to Froome.
