Rock Shox DebonAir: More air for better performance

With the Monarch RT3 and Monarch Plus shock models , RockShox offers two of the most widely used suspension components on the market. For enhanced performance, they now offer a DebonAir variant in addition to the existing models. This version features larger positive and negative air chambers. This is said to reduce the force required to compress the shock by 30 percent and result in a significantly more linear spring curve. This new feature is intended to improve the shock's response to small bumps and provide increased traction. The DebonAir variant is also a real eye-catcher. The black piston has been visually adapted to the new Pike fork and impresses with its understated elegance.

The DebonAir variant is designed to bridge the gap between the Monarch Plus and the downhill-oriented Vivid Air . Those who don't want to buy a new shock outright can purchase a retrofit kit for just under €100. This kit is compatible with all 2014 Monarch models and the 2013 Monarch RT3 .
