March 20, 2014 by the editorial team

The North American riders of the Cannondale Overmountain Team will be riding the brand-new SuperMax forks from the US manufacturer for the first time this season, competing in the Enduro World Series on the fork modeled after the well-known Lefty. Mark Weir, Ben Cruz, Jason Moeschler, and Marco Osborne will certainly turn heads with this move.

The team riders were heavily involved in the development of the fork. With its double-crown design, it's intended to be significantly stiffer than competing models – while also saving considerable weight. "I was skeptical at first ," said Weir. "But after testing the fork for the first time, I was blown away. I've never ridden trails I've been riding for years so fast. The difference the SuperMax makes is noticeable."
