Spectrum: Jan Ullrich on Storck bikes in the future

February 14, 2014 by Marcus Degen

Jan_StorckStorck Bicycle and Jan Ullrich, Tour de France winner in 1997, decided to work closely together in January 2014. Jan Ullrich will travel all over the world of cycling as a brand ambassador for Storck. On February 6, Jan Ullrich was handed over the first bikes by Markus Storck at the Storck company headquarters in Idstein.

Jan Ullrich, whose outstanding career ended abruptly in 2006 after his collaboration with Eufemiano Fuentes became known, is still considered an idol among cycling fans and at the same time the greatest German cyclist.
After difficult times for him personally, Ullrich now devotes himself to mass sport with passion and is a welcome starter in many amateur races.
Markus Storck, Managing Director of Storck Bicycle: “We are very much looking forward to working with Jan. Above all, we see him as a person whose heart still beats for cycling and whose popularity among cycling fans is huge, and we want his enthusiasm , which is also ours, with high-quality wheels.

The Aernario is one of the best bikes I have ever ridden.”

He is one of our heroes". For Jan Ullrich it is important “that in Storck Bicycle I have a partner with whom I can do something for cycling and the many thousands of fans in a trusting and friendly manner. I also appreciate the high quality of Storck bikes. The Aernario is one of the best bikes I've ever ridden."

Jan Ullrich will soon be at the start of a number of events on Storck: at Cape Argus on March 9th in South Africa, the Jan Ullrich RennradCamp from March 29th to April 5th in Mallorca and at the cycling week in the Lindenhof in Naturns/South Tyrol from April 6th to 14th.
