With the new fēnix 2watch, the navigation specialist Garmin is expanding its portfolio with a promising multifunction watch. The watch is said to be the first Garmin watch that manages the balancing act between the most modern running and training functions and a classic ABC watch (altimeter, barometer, compass) with navigation functions. Whether it's mountain sports, running, trail running, biking, skiing or swimming - with its extensive navigation, training and competition functions, the new fēnix 2 feel at home everywhere and, in addition to track and waypoint navigation, offers functions for running style analysis, which should help the athlete to constantly develop.
The Garmin fēnix 2 In addition to classic performance data such as distance, time, pace and heart rate, it also measures training parameters that were previously only known from special high-end running watches. Just like the Garmin Forerunner 620, it also calculates fēnix 2 the maximum oxygen uptake capacity (VO2max) to determine the individual performance level. In addition, the recovery time advisor indicates how long you should pause after a training session before the body is ready for the next training stimulus. In addition to this precise performance analysis, the new HRM-Run chest strap offers the possibility of running style analysis. It records the step frequency, the ground contact time and the vertical movement of the body.
