He did it again. Frenchman Robert Marchand, who holds the world hour record in the over-100 age group, has improved his own record at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines velodrome in Montigny-le-Bretoneux. The now 102-year-old covered a total of 26,925 kilometers. Almost two years ago, on the occasion of his 100th birthday in Aigle (Switzerland), he had a stretch of Completed 24.251 kilometers and thus set a new age group hour world record. Marchand was born in 1911 and started cycling more than 85 years ago.
