racing bikes: Specialized Amira SL4 Pro C2: dress warm, girls!

The Specialized-Lululemon team is among the crème de la crème of the international professional scene in women's cycling. So it's no wonder that the zebra look of the team jerseys can also be found on the American women's top model. However, it is not just a simple recognition feature, but gives it  Amira SL4 Pro C2 also optically a special touch. The curved tube shape has a double effect.

The  Amira SL4 Pro C2 At first glance it reminds you of something tarmac, but is optimized for use by women. For example, the head tube is longer, but the top tube is much shorter. The seat tube is also lower. The angles are also different. At the Amira SL4 Pro C2 have flatter grades. This makes the bike very agile in use, without sacrificing comfort.

This presented itself during my short test Amira SL4 Pro C2 at his best. The wheel was with the reliably working Sram Strength- group, the Roval Rapide CL 40-impellers as well as the in-house Per Fact Carbon-Crank equipped: All components that feel at home in training, but especially in the race. Also the translation of Strength was well chosen. In addition to the 10-speed cassette with 11 to 28 teeth, the cranks were fitted with blades with a gear ratio of 50/39. This will do that Amira SL4 Pro C2 versatile and also allows excursions into the mountains. And seriously: who wants to drive flat all the time? The only thing I personally didn't like was the rather short and narrow handlebar-stem combination. Here, race-oriented components still offer some optimization potential.

Make climbs with the Amira SL4 Pro C2 at least as much fun as descents. The rim height is optimally chosen for women and guaranteed together with the Specialized Turbotires always ensure that the wheel rolls well. Thanks to its agility, it literally invites you to a speed rush. Anything with that Amira SL4 Pro C2 want is kick and have fun.

Thanks to the optimized geometry, the bike is back-friendly and comfortable despite all racing genes. The frame is reinforced at the front and in the bottom bracket area to guarantee greater rigidity. The flat front and the short strut area allow abrupt acceleration, but also very smooth running. This makes sprinting into town with the girls a calculable temptation.

//Conclusion

Specialized has with that Amira SL4 Pro C2 created a women's road bike that defies the competition with its head held high. Justifiably! Because once you're on the road with this bike, it's easy to get racing fever. With that bike under their ass, the other girls have to dress warmly.
