Spectrum: Video: Cyclocross in the 1950s

28 November 2013 by the editorial office

No question, cyclocross is booming. The sport can look back on a long history. As early as 1899, road drivers on the Riviera began training on dirt roads to improve their physical condition. The training was quickly followed by the first races. Only a few years later, a championship race took place in Switzerland for the first time. The sport finally reached its early peak in 1950 with the first Cyclocross World Championships in history in Paris. If you want to take a look back in history and want to know how your bike was then "shouldered", to which we suggest the following video.
