He is currently riding the latest model, which focuses on the main frame as it is made of carbon. Forstruter's bike is unpainted and only decorated with subtle orange decals that give the frame a classy look. When it comes to attachments, he can fall back on the product range from Sram, Truvativ, Rock Shox and Avid without having to make any compromises. So he trusts the new one XX1 drive, but does not use an additional chain guide as known from other enduro riders.

The heart of his cockpit is the handlebar classic boobar from Truvativ with a width of 740 millimeters. Depending on the setting, the rear offers 150 or 160 millimeters of spring travel, which is increased by a MonarchPlus be realized by Rock Shox. At the front performs one Lyric RC2CL With 160 millimeters of travel, it does its job reliably and also likes to swallow larger stones. The wheel is slowed down by the new ones X0 trail-Brakes in combination with 180 mm brake discs. In order to keep the weight as low as possible, Joscha drives the light ones ZTR Flow-Rims tubeless and pulls the Ardent- Tires from Maxxis, with a width of 2,25 inches. The total weight of the bike is therefore a slim 12,5 kilograms.

“I love it when a bike is really stiff and just goes forward, but at the same time it can take a beating without being overwhelmed. It was the perfect companion for my trip to New Zealand last winter. The super demanding trails, and also the fantastically flowing trails with probably the best berms on the planet are exactly his thing. After the Rock Shox Reverb, the ODI Troy Lee grips are definitely my second favorite part of the bike”, Forstreuter describes his current work equipment.
