Cycling: Greg Van Avermaet (BMC) once again won the classic Omloop Het Nieuwsblad ahead of Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe). As in the previous year, these two proved to be the strongest riders in the field. Sep Vanmarcke (Cannondale) finished third.
