A city bike is specially designed for use in city traffic and for use by many different drivers. City bikes are loaded with groceries and should therefore be easy and safe to hold. A low entry makes this easier, as well as handling in stop-and-go traffic. Gears and brakes do not necessarily have to meet sporting needs. Hub gears make everyday life easier because they require little maintenance. The target group is rather not sporty but benefit-oriented.
