Cycling glove test: At the latest when the temperatures drop at the end of summer, the rain showers increase and the wind gets colder and colder, no cyclist will sit in the saddle without wearing the right gloves. For this reason, we took a closer look at the confusing area of cycling gloves.
Which winter cycling gloves are right for me?
Unfortunately, this question is difficult to answer, since the choice of the right glove depends on many, sometimes very individual factors. The decisive factor is the fit: Rather sporty or comfortable, preformed or not - these are questions of personal taste and the area of use of the bike. Each cycling glove also has a slightly different fit - size 9 is not the same as size 9, sometimes the fingers are longer, sometimes shorter, sometimes the glove is rather narrow, sometimes rather wide. Whether a glove fits therefore sometimes also depends on the physical requirements. Therefore, a test like ours can be a first clue, but the decision should only be made after trying it on. The best features are useless if the glove doesn't fit.
The requirements for the thermal insulation of cycling gloves are no less individual. Whether rather warm, or rather thin, whether water-repellent or not - these are also questions that the interested party has to answer for himself. In our tests you will find hints and comments regarding all the factors mentioned.
