Cycling: Before the riders can celebrate in Paris on Sunday, they have to complete a time trial tomorrow on the way to Rocamadour. Who will win the fight against the clock and thus the 20th stage of the Tour de France?
Velomotion Prognosis: Ganna is the favorite
The 40,7-kilometer time trial from Lacapelle-Marival to Rocamadour has long been the longest time trial in the Tour de France. In the fight for the yellow jersey, however, it will no longer be decisive because the Dane jonas vingegaard leads the overall ranking. The places two and three also shine Tadej pogacar and Geraint Thomas to be firmly committed. From fourth place, however, a tough fight for seconds begins. The Russian has good cards – despite a difficult Tour de France Alexander Vlasov, who is probably considered the best time trialist of these candidates. The day's win, however, will be for the Italians anyway Filippo Gana fetch. The World Champion is simply in a class of its own in the fight against the clock and that will be clearly noticeable with this length. Like at the start of the Tour de France in Copenhagen, the Swiss are hoping Stefan Kung and Stephen Bissegger.
