MTB cycling: The UCI XCO MTB World Cup in the 2018 season starts tomorrow, Saturday, in Stellenbosch / South Africa. After last year's impressive performance by Nino Schurter, the main question is: Who can stop the Swiss? The spectacle will be broadcast by Red Bull TV as a live stream with both English and German commentary.
Tomorrow things will get serious in Stellenbosch / South Africa as part of the UCI XCO MTB World Cup 2018! Before the first race of the season, the main question is who can stop the Swiss Nino Schurter. The historically perfect 2017 season with victories in all World Cups definitely left a powerful impression. The French Stephane Tempier, Maxime Marotte and Jordan Sarrou certainly have a good chance of spitting in the Swiss man's soup. Dutch CX superstar Mathieu van der Poel and Czech veteran Jaroslav Kulhavy also have good chances of winning. Who will be in the lead at the end of the 4,4 kilometer course with 180 meters of altitude difference? The women's race promises no less excitement. A number of top-class riders will be at the start, who want to replace last year's overall World Cup winner Yana Belamoina at the top. Can the young Ukrainian repeat her world-class performance from 2017?
Red Bull TV will be broadcasting live from Stellenbosch tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. CET with English and German commentary. During the German-language live stream, Christopher D. Ryan will be supported by former vice world champion Nathalie Schneitter.
