The Junge Schmiede Bikeyoke has made it its task to solve the questions in the mountain bike world that, in your opinion, remain unanswered. Be it an adapter to be able to use conventional struts in special frames, kits to convert hydraulics to mechanics or even your own telescopic support.

BikeYoke Revive: Assembly
The installation is very simple. The lever is the starting point, this is where the train is threaded and guided through a shift housing. Once it has been cut to the correct length, a metal barrel is clamped onto the train. To ensure that this happens at the correct distance from the cable end cap, a gauge is lasered onto the lower end of the seat post. Then both are hooked up and the Revive is ready for use.
BikeYoke Revive: Processing
Overall, the BikeYoke Revive looks very high quality. Cleanly worked milled parts, clean surfaces and a pleasant feel. The trigger lever is also worth mentioning. In our opinion, this is very well done and fully convinces us. There is no disruptive play, nothing seems fragile.
BikeYoke Revive: Function
The working speed of the BikeYoke meets our expectations and is just right. There are adapters for Sram and Shimano to mount the lever, as well as the option of the classic clamp. So everyone should be able to get the right variant for their bike. The lever is comfortable to hold and, in our opinion, is currently the reference in terms of ergonomics. Installation and function are right down to the last detail.
What is unusual about the post is the option of venting it using an Allen key on the post head. You insert the Allen key, operate a valve with a partial turn and press the support down. The process is repeated if necessary. Play or springs are gone. The feature is unique and works reliably. We just wish we had to use it less often.
Helmets says
As a minus point "frequent venting" is inappropriate !!! takes 5 sec. and is then part of the brief check before riding out, e.g. Brakes, wheels, gears, etc. included. The system is really not prone to failure and can also be serviced by experienced hobbyists themselves. You can try that at RockSchrott, Fox etc., have fun with it. I bought the first series back then, it's now 2 1/2 years ago and I've had ZERO problems with it so far, I would never buy another support!
