Two-time Giro winner and BAHRAIN MERIDA captain Vincenzo Nibali will tackle the 100th edition of the Tour of Italy with a very special version of his trusted Merida Scultura.
Influenced by the famous spiral shape of the Giro d'Italia trophy, the wheel bears a gold banderole with the names of all past winners in honor of the 100th edition of the Giro d'Italia. The gold banderole consists of real gold leaves applied to the top layer of carbon before being protected by a clear coating. The defending champion will try to achieve a third overall victory with this unique bike. The Scultura is one of three bikes available to the BAHRAIN MERIDA Pro Cycling Team during the event. In addition to the light Scultura, riders also have the option of using the Reacto Aero Bike and, in the fight against the clock, the Wrap TT.
