Cycling: The Movistar team triumphed in the team time trial on the 2nd stage of the Tour of Catalonia. The Spanish squad around Alejandro Valverde relegated the favorites from Team BMC to second place by two seconds. There is quite a large gap behind them, so that these two teams now hold all the trumps in their hands in the battle for the overall standings. Chris Froome's Team Sky finished third, 46 seconds back. Alberto Contador had to accept 1:15 minutes with Trek-Segafredo in fourth place and Steven Kruijswijk with his team LottoNL-Jumbo even 1:57 minutes. Tomorrow there will be the first mountain finish, which is why the current overall leader José Joaquín Rojas is likely to lose his jersey again.
