MTB-News / Spectrum: The Loose Riders Winter Bike Challenge will take place for the third time on December 26th in Rheinberg on the Lower Rhine. The just-for-fun mountain bike rally is not about top performance, but simply about having fun with the sport. The supporting program with bike flea market and after-show party is free and worth the trip to the Lower Rhine alone.
For most people in this country, contemplative Christmas time means: lazing around, Christmas carols, candlelight and roast goose. The somewhat different holiday event awaits MTB fans from all over Germany on December 26 with the Loose Riders Winter Bike Challenge. For the third time, the Loose Riders group around Manu Bechert and Fabian Rapp let it rip between the years and invite you to their mountain bike rally.
Around 70 participants will start in teams of two again this year. The route is about 30km long, but not too difficult and therefore absolutely suitable for beginners. Variety is guaranteed: there are time ratings, games of skill with the bike and other tasks. For the fair registration fee of 25€ there is an obligatory starter package and during the rally the participants will of course be provided with sufficient water and mulled wine.
Registrations are already underway, there are still places available, but it is only a matter of time before they are sold out like last year. If you are interested in the event now, you can send an email to manu@loose-shop.de register and inform.
The supporting program not only includes a bike flea market, which invites you to browse, but also the Loose Riders Reggae Night from 19 p.m. Admission is free and the guys from Mountain Reggae Radio and the live act Skarra Mucci will provide the right background music.
