Eurobike: As soon as the Eurobike 2015 is over, the focus is already on next year. This is where the biggest changes for many years will take place, as announced by the organizer yesterday evening. The demo day will be completely omitted, but permanent test possibilities should be created. The public day will also become a public weekend.
Big changes are in store for the 25th Eurobike next year. The previously known Demo Day will no longer exist in this form, instead the "Test possibilities [...] become a permanent part of the Eurobike," as stated in the accompanying press release. This gives trade visitors the opportunity to test for themselves during the trade fair – this is intended to straighten out the schedule somewhat.
In addition, there was a reaction to the ever-increasing crowds on the public day. From next year, the fair will be open to the public for two days, so that end consumers also have more opportunities to look around extensively in the numerous halls. In addition, the huge crowd of over 20.000 visitors can be spread over two days. The new concept means that the daily routine at the fair will change somewhat. Instead of Tuesday (demo day) to Saturday (visitor day), as before, the trade fair will last from Wednesday to Sunday from next year. The weekend will then be completely open to the public.
The date has also already been set: Eurobike 2016 will take place from Wednesday, August 31st to Sunday, September 4th, 2016.
