Test: The direct seller ROSE from Bocholt has not only made a name for itself with its complete bikes, which are particularly popular in the racing bike sector, but has also been known beyond national borders as a manufacturer of inexpensive accessories and clothing for several years. We put the ROSE T-20 mini tool to the test.

[/easy table]The Rose T-20 Multitool wants to be an all-round tool for use on the go - and with a view to the range of functions one can certainly speak of it. There are tools for modern bikes as well as a torx wrench, but at Rose they also have a heart for the owners of older bikes and supply three open-end wrenches of different sizes. The fact that the 15mm key for gear hubs or pedals is missing is a pity, but probably due to the size and weight of the T-20: The mini tool is smaller and at 160g also much lighter than most of the competition.
We think it's a pity that you only get one tire lever: Even if that is sufficient in most cases, stubborn tires sometimes require a second tire lever. If the worst comes to the worst, it must be packed separately.
application
The ROSE T-20 mini tool is certainly not a hand flatterer like the competition from Pedro's or Brooks - but in view of the low price, this is very easy to cope with. Injection molded plastic dominates the case, but apart from the look and feel, there is absolutely nothing to complain about: stable, light and precisely processed. The tools themselves are very good, although a bit difficult to move out of the case.
handling
The ROSE tool also gets good marks for handling. The possibility of separating the plastic part, which contains the chain tool, from the rest of the housing is particularly nice. This gives you a fully-fledged, very easy-to-handle chain tool that doesn't have to hide from dedicated tools. Unfortunately, the Allen keys are a bit short - you quickly get space problems in hard-to-reach places.
