At the Zurich Sixday-Nights, the spectators were able to celebrate a home win on the final night. The Swiss Silvan Dillier, together with his Belgian partner Iljo Keisse, managed to intercept the Belgians Kenny de Ketele and Jasper de Buyst, who had been leading up to that point. In the end, both had the highest score, but had to accept a loss of laps during the hunt for the final over 250 laps, which they could not make up for.
The Spanish Vice World Champions David Muntaner and Albert Torres took third place. Both were still in the clear round before the night, but like the other teams, they had to lose their feathers during the last rankings. Leif Lampater occupied the best position from a German point of view. After his partner Roger Kluge fell out, he came sixth with his replacement Jan Keller.
