Luckily, there is the right clothing to protect us from the outside influences. The rain jacket is one of the most essential items of clothing that an outdoor athlete should own. But just as the weather can be different, the requirements for a rain jacket are also different.
The most important thing is that our bodies don't get too cold and we don't get sick. Secondly, the jacket shouldn't restrict our movement while cycling. Unfortunately, this is precisely why not all rain jackets are created equal, and, for example, a road cyclist wouldn't wear a loose-fitting, three-layer hardshell jacket.
