What is important in a bicycle tire lever?
As smart as the tire lever is, the requirements are immense. The lever must allow easy and uncomplicated removal of the tire. The same applies accordingly to the mounting of a tire. The feel plays just as important a role as a shovel or chisel that can be easily pushed under the tire bead. Rough surfaces and recessed grips in the grip area ensure a non-slip grip. Of course, the material used and the length of the lever also have a major impact on the work. Long levers impress with a high leverage effect, but sometimes cannot be stowed in a saddlebag.
