Four new StVZO-compliant lights and an exclusive limited edition: CATEYE lighting range with new models

Product news: CATEYE expands its lighting range with two new front lights, two rear lights, and a flexible saddle mount. The new products, manufactured in Japan, are compliant with German road traffic regulations (StVZO), feature replaceable Li-ion batteries with a USB-C port, and a water-resistant plastic housing. A particular highlight is the GVolt 300 Limited Edition, limited to 500 units, with a heritage print.

With its new lineup, CATEYE covers the needs of commuters, city riders, and touring cyclists. All models were developed in compliance with current European battery regulations and feature sustainable and durable designs with IPX4 water resistance.

CATEYE lighting range: An overview of the new products

Front lights: GVolt 300lm and GVolt 200lm

The new front lights utilize OptiCube lens technology for a wide and even beam pattern at close, medium, and long range. They are attached without tools using the FlexTight H-34N mount.



GVolt 300lm (incl. Limited Edition)

CATEYE expands its lighting range

  • Light output: 300 lumens (3 adjustable brightness levels)
  • Illumination duration: 3 to 8 hours (including three-stage battery indicator)
  • Special feature: In addition to the standard version, there is a GVolt 300 Limited Edition, limited to 500 units, featuring a heritage print by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. It is also available as a set with the Nano G or VIZ G rear light.

CATEYE expands its lighting range

  • Light output: 200 lumens (3 adjustable brightness levels)
  • Illumination duration: 3 to 6 hours
  • Special feature: Designed for everyday use in the city; also available as a set with the VIZ G rear light.
  • Price (RRP): 44,95 €

Rear lights and accessories: VIZ G, Nano G II and RM3 bracket

For rear visibility, CATEYE is launching two new models that can be attached without tools using a Snap System rubber mount.

VIZ G rear light

  • Battery life: 7 hours (HighPower) to 12 hours (Standard)
  • Special feature: Offers high all-round visibility via two lighting modes
  • Price (RRP): 27,95 €

Nano G II taillight

  • Battery life: 9 hours (HighPower) to 12,5 hours (Standard)
  • Special feature: Compact design with semi-transparent housing for improved side visibility
  • Price (RRP): 33,95 €

RM3 rear light bracket



  • Construction: Universal saddle rail mount in 2-component injection molded design with rubber insert for low-vibration support
  • Compatibility: Tool-free mounting on round and oval saddle rails; compatible with the Nano G II, Micro G and VIZ G rear lights
  • Price (RRP): 6,95 €
