Product news: Hope, the British component manufacturer known for its milled parts, presents the 20mm Gravity stem, an extremely short option for gravity and enduro riding. Its development is directly based on feedback from World Cup downhill and enduro riders who wanted a contact point on the handlebars even closer to the steering axis.
The new, ultra-short Hope 20mm Gravity stem was developed to optimize rider control and position. Its length of just 20mm shifts the riding position further back and more upright over the bike's center. This neutral weight distribution promises more stable handling on steep and technical terrain. The logical result: since less body weight needs to be supported by the arms, the forearms tire less quickly. Furthermore, the close proximity to the steering axis provides more precise steering. The one-piece CNC-machined stem features an integrated stack height of 35mm and a 5mm wider handlebar clamp, ensuring the necessary stiffness and strength for demanding off-road use.
