Minimalist city driving with the Bosch Hub Line System: Scott presents the new Sweep Urban e-bike

Scott presents the new Sweep Urban e-bike

Product news: Scott expands its urban portfolio and presents the Scott Sweep, a new e-bike model series for commuters and city riders. The concept focuses on uncomplicated handling, low-maintenance technology, and a sleek frame design that doesn't immediately remind one of a classic e-bike.

With a new Bosch hub motor, integrated battery, and clean design, Scott is launching a new urban e-bike platform for the 2027 model year. At the heart of the Sweep is the Bosch Hub Line system. The compact rear hub motor delivers 45 Nm of torque and a peak output of 400 W. The system is powered by a slim, removable 360 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. For longer distances, the system can be optionally extended with the Bosch PowerMore range extender (+250 Wh).

The foundation is a newly developed aluminum frame designed for a maximum system weight of 130 kg. All models come fully equipped for everyday use with mudguards, lights, a kickstand, and luggage rack solutions.

  • Scott Sweep 10 (Color: Signal White): The sporty version with rigid fork, one-piece Syncros handlebar unit and lightweight side pannier racks (up to 8 kg payload).
  • Scott Sweep 20 (Color: Chrome Silver): Offers increased comfort thanks to a 75 mm suspension fork, an adjustable stem, and an integrated SP Connect smartphone mount. Equipped with a Racktime luggage carrier (SNAPIT 2.0 system, up to 25 kg load capacity).
  • Scott Sweep 20 Wave (Color: Chrome Silver): The low-entry version of the Sweep 20 for comfortable getting on and off in city traffic.
