Three models with size-optimized design for trail, dirt, pumptrack and bike park: The Giant STP series for young riders

26 November 2025 by Andrew Waldera

The Giant STP series for young riders

Product News: From first rides on dirt trails to growing skills, increased confidence in the air, and learning tricks: The three new Giant STP bikes combine the handling of a dirt jump bike with the robustness of a mountain bike. The series features consistent design elements across all models – complemented by youth-oriented geometries and components tailored to size and age.

The new STP series was developed by Giant for young riders looking to take their dirt jumping to the next level. From their first rides on dirt trails to growing skills, increased confidence in the air, and learning tricks, the STP series is designed for progression. Available in three sizes from 20 to 26 inches, the bikes combine the dynamic handling of an agile and playful dirt jump bike with the durability of a mountain bike. The frames are constructed from Giant's ALUXX aluminum using the recycled RK6061 alloy, which is made from 90 to 100 percent recycled pre-consumption aluminum.

Giant STP Series: Three bikes from entry-level model to full-fledged dirt bike

The entry-level STP 20 offers a low standover height, 20-inch wheels, and playful, stable handling. Equipped with child-friendly hydraulic disc brakes, 105mm cranks, and youth-specific cockpit features, it's available with a lightweight carbon fork or a 63mm suspension fork. The STP 24 is aimed at young riders ready for the next step: 24-inch wheels, size-optimized geometry, and the Giant Crest TR Lite suspension fork for enhanced control on the trails. Short chainstays and a compact wheelbase make manuals easier. A dropper seatpost allows for adjustable seat height on descents, jumps, or at the pump track.

The STP 26 is a fully-fledged dirt bike with suspension and components designed specifically for dirt jumping. It features a lightweight ALUXX frame, 26-inch TRA-2 wheels, and a 100mm Marzocchi Bomber DJ fork. A horizontal 135 x 10mm rear dropout on the STP 26 improves frame stiffness and makes adjusting and maintaining chain tension easier. Hydraulic disc brakes, Giant Contact TR35 handlebars, and a gyro cable routing system for unlimited handlebar spins complete the package. The bikes are priced at €1.699,00 (STP 26 FS), €1.199,00 (STP 24 FS), and €699,00 (STP 20 FS).
