The man in the white jersey of the best young professional cyclist has won the 17th stage of the Vuelta a Espana. Giulio Pellizzari (RB – Bora – hansgrohe) attacked on the final climb while the top favorites stalked each other. The young Italian quickly built a lead of over 30 seconds – and confidently cruised to the finish. He remains the leader in the overall standings. jonas vingegaard (Visma – Lease a Bike). Tomorrow at the Vuelta a Espana: time trial!
Twelve breakaway riders tried their luck on the 143,2-kilometer stage from O Barco de Valdeorras to Alto de El Morredero.
