Diamant Suvea Trip Pro: Your companions for urban mobility and e‑trekking

August 6, 2025 by Florian Nowak

Product news: The Diamant Suvea Trip Pro with an 800 Wh battery is a versatile SUV e-bike: robust, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for commuting, touring, and challenging trails. The low, easy-entry frame makes getting on and off easier, while optional accessory bar upgrades offer flexibility for luggage, bags, or even a ring-lock grab handle.

The Suvea Trip Pro is powered by the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 with a powerful 85 Nm of torque. The 800 Wh PowerTube is neatly integrated into the down tube and, thanks to its 3/4-inch opening, allows for easy removal and charging. The system is compatible with the optional Bosch PowerMore battery (250 Wh) for particularly long tours. Control is via the Bosch Kiox 500 Smart System in combination with the LED Remote.

The frame is made of hydroformed aluminum with internally routed cables ("Smart Routing"), a UDH dropout, ringlock compatibility, and an optional belt drive. With 27,5" wheels and 65 mm Schwalbe Johnny Watts 365 balloon tires, the bike offers stable comfort even on rough terrain. The frame can support a total weight of up to 160 kg (rider including luggage). The Clever Rack Pro carrier with MIK or Ortlieb compatibility ensures stable weight distribution and also allows for the transport of a child seat. An optional lighting package with Spanninga Pimento (brake light) and Supernova Starstream LED ensures reliable visibility on tours.

Diamant Suvea Trip Pro – High-quality components & features

When it comes to the Suvea Trip Pro's spec, Diamant relies on high-quality, proven components designed for everyday use, comfort, and durability. The electronic shifting system is from the Shimano Cues U8050 Di2 series with 11 gears and a Linkglide cassette. It operates precisely, is low-maintenance, and designed for high mileage—ideal for frequent riders. The Magura MT Thirty brake system with 4-piston hydraulics and large 203 mm rotors provides reliable braking power—even when fully loaded, the braking power remains consistently strong and easily modulated.

The suspension fork is from Fox: The 36 AWL HD offers 100 mm of air travel and can be individually adjusted to suit your riding style and surface via Sweep Adjust. Combined with wide tires, this results in noticeably confident handling even on uneven terrain. The setup is complemented by a dropper post with 100 mm of travel and internal cable routing – especially useful for frequent climbs and descents or on changing trail profiles.

The cockpit is completed by an ergonomic Ergotec XXL handlebar with a 30 mm rise and a 16° rearward sweep for relaxed riding. The stem is continuously adjustable and features an integrated display mount for the Bosch Kiox 500. This creates a functional, comfortable, and uncluttered cockpit for longer rides, both everyday and on tour.

A particular highlight of the Suvea is the optional Accessory Bar, which transforms the low-step frame concept into a classic step-over e-bike in no time. Mounted on the down tube and seat tube, the Accessory Bar creates a practical upper tube area – ideal for mounting bottle cages, organizer bags, or pumps. Additional accessories can be flexibly attached using the included inserts or straps. The Accessory Bar is so robustly constructed that it can bear the rider's weight, for example, when mounting and dismounting or as a storage surface – but it can also be easily removed when needed. Available in sizes S/M and L/XL, the Accessory Bar offers maximum adjustability for the Suvea model – a smart everyday helper that can be clipped in and out as required for your ride.

Weight, sizes & price

The Suvea Trip Pro weighs approximately 29,4 kg (800 Wh) in size S/M, depending on the battery configuration; with a 600 Wh battery, it weighs just under 28,5 kg. It is available in two frame sizes (S-M for approximately 1,55–1,77 m, L-XL for approximately 1,73–1,95 m) in three colors: Midnight Blue, Hay Green, or Clay Beige. The MSRP for the Suvea Trip Pro with 800 Wh is €5.999 Euro.
