Ups and downs in the last third of the race
The 112th Tour de France has gathered pace. On the fourth day, the route takes the pros over 174,2 kilometers from Amiens to Rouen. Unlike today's stage, no bunch sprint is expected. Several climbs await the riders in the final third of the race, which will gradually thin out the peloton. The decisive moment will come at the Saint-Hilaire ramp (0,8 km at 9,1%), five kilometers from the finish.
Velomotion forecast: Pogacar takes revenge
We already saw yesterday how eager Team UAE – XRG is for stage wins. Tadej pogacar wanted to win the stage and take the yellow jersey. But Mathieu van der Poel got in his way. We expect this duel tomorrow as well. Compared to yesterday, however, the profile tomorrow is a bit more demanding. The final third of the race is almost entirely uphill and downhill. Therefore, we rate the chances of a Pogacar victory higher. But things will also be exciting behind the wheel. Can the two Frenchmen Kevin Vauquelin and Romain Gregoire upset the two favorites?
