The 207,3-kilometer section from Neuhausen am Rheinfall to Emmetten goes to Joao almeida (UAE – XRG). The Portuguese rider secured a thrilling uphill sprint ahead of Oscar Onlyy (Picnic – PostNL) from Great Britain and the French Kevin Vauquelin (Arkéa – B&B Hotels). This also moves Almeida closer to the yellow jersey in the overall standings, with a gap of just 33 seconds to Vauquelin. The race will be decided tomorrow in the ten-kilometer mountain time trial from Beckenried to Stockhütte.
