Cycling dates: The most important cycling races in January

7 January 2025 by Michael Behringer

Cycling Dates January 2025

Cycling: The time has finally come: the new cycling season is beginning. The WorldTour traditionally starts in Australia. But there is also a lot on offer for spectators in cyclocross.

Narvaez, Thomas & Bettiol start in Australia

The long wait is finally over. On January 21st, the men will start the WorldTour season with the Santos Tour Down Under. The women will be pedaling four days earlier. Once again, we can expect beautiful images, but also enormous heat. Among those taking part are former Tour of Flanders winner Alberto Bettiol and 2018 Tour winner Geraint Thomas. But we can also keep our fingers crossed for German athletes in Australia. Among those taking part are Phil Bauhaus, Georg Zimmermann and Ben Zwiehoff. Meanwhile, all the pros in cyclocross are preparing for the World Championships. However, these will not take place until February 2nd. The Bremen and Berlin Six-Day Races are the German track cycling highlights of January.

Here you can find the women’s starting list.
And here is the men’s starting list.
