A time trial will conclude the Tour de France. The 33,7-kilometer stage from Monaco to Nice will be a race against the clock. The course is challenging and not ideal for pure time trial specialists. The climb to La Turbie is 8,2 kilometers long with an average gradient of 5,7 percent. This is followed by the Col d'Eze, which is 1,6 kilometers long with an average gradient of 8,8 percent. World Champion Remco Evenepoel is the top favorite for the stage win. His biggest rival will be Tadej Pogacar . We shouldn't underestimate the Visma riders Wout van Aert and Jonas Vingegaard. Canadian Derek Gee could be a dark horse and cause an upset.
