Maxim van Gils sprints to victory in Frankfurt

The 61st edition of Eschborn-Frankfurt begins Maxim van Gils (Lotto – Dstny). The Belgian won the sprint of the first group ahead of the Spaniard Alex Aranburu (Movistar) and the American Riley Sheehan (Israel – Premier Tech). Over the 201,5 very demanding kilometers, the peloton was gradually thinned out. In the end, around 25 drivers sprinted for victory. We also had an impressive performance Jan Christen (UAE) shown. The Swiss attacked on the last crossing of the Mammolshain and presented his fans with a solo over 30 kilometers. It wasn't until two kilometers before the finish that they finally caught up with their combined efforts.
