Pogacar takes stage win number 4
The Tour of Catalonia came to an end this Sunday with a 145,3 kilometer long stage with start and finish in Barcelona. When we went up the Alt del Castell de Montjuïc for the last time on the undulating circuit, we attacked Stephen Williams (Israel – Premier Tech). The Briton couldn't break away, but he increased his pace and ensured selection. Then tried it Enric Mas Nicolau (Movistar) and Joao almeida (UAE). But the Spaniard and the Portuguese didn't get away decisively either. This led to a sprint by a group of around 20 people Tadej pogacar (UAE) was once again the fastest. Today the Slovenian gave his teammates free rein. In the end, however, it was him again who took the stage win.

The offensive was again present on the final stage of the Tour of Catalonia George Steinhauser (EF – EasyPost). Jan Ullrich's nephew was initially in a group of five, later as a duo Idar Andersen (Uno-X Mobility). Around 30 kilometers from the finish, the German also left the Norwegian behind. The Spaniards tried behind them Marc Soler (UAE) and the Frenchman Valentin Paret Peintre (Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale) tried to make the connection in vain. In the main field, the teams Israel – Premier Tech and Ineos Grenadiers took command. On the fifth of six laps over the Alt del Castell de Montjuïc, the 22-year-old soloist was finally caught.
