Flexeo First Aid Kit Traveler

Flexeo first aid kit Traveler in the test

The Flexeo Traveler first aid kit is the only set in the test that comes in a hard case. This is nice and robust and keeps its shape. The workmanship is good on the outside, but the inside seams are less clean. Of course, at a price of around €16, you shouldn't expect a high-end product here. With 39 parts that is First aid kit also lavishly equipped. Small straps with carabiners offer attachment options to the bike, backpack or travel bag - with the belt straps on the back there are further options. A flyer is also included that refers to the in-house, free first aid app.

Handling & inner workings

Inside the Flexeo first aid kit Traveler there are two mesh pockets in which the utensils are sorted by theme. The net seems quite thin, but still seems robust. Access to the contents on the left side is good, but there is a restriction on the right side: the utensils below can only be reached if you clear everything above them. When things have to happen quickly, it's stressful; Plus, everything might be in the mud. The handling is a bit awkward, but it works very well when fastened using belt straps or carabiners - even if the first aid kit with the latter dangles loosely somewhere.

The equipment

The Flexeo first aid kit Traveler comes with the following features:

  • 1x adhesive plaster spool
  • 4x quick wound dressing
  • 2x fingertip bandage
  • 2x finger bandage
  • 2x small plaster strips
  • 2x large plaster strips
  • 1x scissors
  • 2x disinfectant wipes
  • 1x emergency blanket
  • 2x disposable gloves
  • 1x table of contents
  • 1x bandage pack 12 x 10cm
  • 1x bandage pack 10 x 8cm
  • 1x bandage cloth 80 x 60cm

With this equipment, the first aid kit is actually equipped for a variety of injuries. There are many different plasters, especially for small wounds. Regarding the basic equipment, we only miss a triangular cloth. With a little bit of stuffing you could still fit this into the set, even if the case is already quite well filled. Except for the scissors, the equipment makes a pretty high-quality impression.

The Flexeo Traveler first aid kit comes in a hard case and is available for a fair €16. It is particularly interesting for leisurely excursion cyclists who would like to pack or attach a robust set. The equipment is sensibly chosen, the only thing missing from our point of view is a triangular cloth. When it comes to handling, the right inside pocket is a bit impractical, but otherwise we find the handling to be pleasant and practical.
