After 138 kilometers from the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum to the Abu Dhabi Breakwater had once again Tim Merlier (Soudal – Quick-Step) is ahead. The Belgian was able to get ahead of the Dutchman in the mass sprint Arvid de Kleijn (Tudor) and the German Phil Bauhaus (Bahrain – Victorious) and achieved his third win of the day. Arvid de Kleijn, on the other hand, will be annoyed. He came second for the third time this week. The breakaway trio around the German Henri Uhlig (Alpecin – Deceuninck) was caught twelve kilometers from the finish. The Briton Mark Cavendish (Astana) could no longer compete due to a slight fever. The Australian is still the overall leader Jay Vine (UAE). Tomorrow the final stage of the UAE Tour will be decided on the final stage to Jebel Hafeet.
