Cycling: Finn Fisher-Black clinched his second win of the season within a few days. The New Zealander won the second stage of the Tour of Oman and thus takes the lead in the overall ranking.

Last year was allowed Finn Fisher Black (UAE) are just happy about a win this season. In his entire career there were two successes at the start of the season. He can now look back on two victories in the still young 2024 season alone. After the 22-year-old a few days ago Muscat Classic was able to win, he now also won the second stage of the Tour of Oman. In the pouring rain he left again Luke Lamperti (Soudal – Quick-Step) behind him. His teammates Diego Ulissi (UAE) and Adam Yates (UAE) ensured an excellent team result with third and sixth places. This means that Finn Fisher-Black also takes the lead in the overall standings. Germany Ben Zwiehoff (Bora – hangrohe) moves to eighth place. The decision in the Tour of Oman will be made on Wednesday when the stage on Green Mountain ends.
