After four stages for the sprinters, today it was the turn of the punchers at the AlUla Tour. On the 150,2 kilometer long stage from AlUla Old Town to the Skyviews of Harrat Uwayrid was able to Simon yates (Jayco AlUla). The Brit was very active on the climb, pushing the pace several times, but also had to defend himself against the attacks of young riders. The Belgians presented themselves particularly well William Junior Lecerf (Soudal – Quick-Step) and the New Zealander Finn Fisher Black (UAE), who made life difficult for the eventual stage and overall winner until the finish line. With all his experience and sprinting strength, Simon Yates was able to become the day's winner ahead of William Junior Lecerf and Finn Fisher-Black. The three are ultimately listed in the overall ranking in the same order. Best German was Jonah Koch (Bora – hansgrohe) in 13th place, which is his captain Matteo Sobrero (Bora – hansgrohe) to eighth place – and fourth place in the overall ranking.
