Eleven-speed derailleur gears plus a two-speed hub result in a large range of gear ratios, combined with all the advantages of a 1x gearbox. The electronically operated two-speed gearbox shifts at lightning speed and is therefore far superior to the conventional front derailleur; Despite the rather closely spaced sprocket (11-34 teeth), the ratio is a good 450%. At the rear, the electronic Shimano rear derailleur works extremely precisely and smoothly; The frame of the Backroad provides a high level of comfort and handiness.
