First aid set Amplifi Aid Pack Pro in the test

The existence First aid kit Amplifi shows that it can also look beautiful with the Aid Pack Pro. The elegant, black bag has a small front pocket in which you can store medical information or just a key, for example. There is a belt loop on the back - this allows the kit to be used flexibly. Its workmanship is clean and valuable. Amplifi uses robust materials from brand manufacturers that have a PFC-free coating and are therefore permanently water-repellent.

Handling & inner workings

The main compartment of the Amplifi Aid Pack Pro can be opened completely and has two zippers. This ensures good and quick access to medical items. The contents can be found in two mesh pockets - on one side only the emergency blanket. The rest is stored in the additional plastic bag on the other side. If things have to be done quickly, you lose valuable seconds here. To avoid this, you can of course use your own packing order. The mesh pockets themselves are robust and stretchy - so there is plenty of scope for individual organization and your own additions.

The equipment

The Amplifi Aid Pack Pro comes with the following features:

  • 1x scissors DIN 58279-A145
  • 3x alcohol wipes
  • 2x WSV-EL 10 cm x 6 cm loose
  • 1x spool with ring 5 mx 1,25 cm
  • 2x safety pins size. 3
  • 1x plaster strips 1,9 x 7,2 cm WF, individually packed
  • 1x bag of 2 vinyl gloves size. L
  • 2x wound compresses 10 x 10 cm, sterile
  • 1x bandage pack DIN 13151-M
  • 2x fixing bandages DIN 61634 6 cm
  • 1x first aid instructions
  • 1x depositor with expiry date
  • 1x emergency blanket silver/gold 160x200cm

This makes the first aid kit ideal for the home trails or even a day trip. The parts themselves make a good impression - but the scissors are quite large and increase the weight. The unpackaged, large strips of plaster can get dirty quickly, but you have a plaster of the right length at hand in the event of rough contact between the pedal and your shin, for example.

The Amplifi Aid Pack Pro first aid set comes in a well-thought-out bag that is easy to access. There is only a deduction here because all the medical parts are stuffed into a plastic bag. The workmanship is good, which is what you should expect at a price of around €33. In terms of equipment, the set is ideal for mountain bikers on their home trails and day tours. If you undertake larger projects and have a greater need for security, you may miss out on some things such as tick tweezers or a respiratory aid. However, the bag still offers some space for additions.
