E-MTBs 2024: These are the top 3 in the fully high-end category
Versatility is key! The new R.X1000 Ultra is perhaps the perfect companion for endurance alpine adventures. The Pinion motor-gear unit is powered by a long-range 960 Wh battery, 150 mm of suspension travel and a balanced geometry should make touring riders and trail aficionados equally happy.
Price: € 11.999
The Hybe is real: Thanks to the Bosch CX Race motor and 170 mm of suspension travel, the new E-MTB from Haibike is ideally equipped for full throttle downhill and uphill. The visually unmistakable carbon frame has a modern geometry and uses mixed wheel sizes for a good balance of smoothness and agility.
Price: € 10.000
Armed with the low-maintenance and powerful Pinion MGU, the new Vuca Evo AM attacks the all-mountain segment. It has 150 mm of travel, an exciting rear triangle and strong features. Thanks to the integrated rear light and trailer release, everyday use is also possible. Great: When it comes to the battery, you can choose between 720 Wh or 960 Wh.

E-MTBs 2024: These are the top 3 in the fully mid-range category
The Stereo Hybrid One55 heralds a new chapter at Cube: For the first time, a Cube E-MTB has a full carbon frame that is also very light at 2,9 kg - like the entire bike. Of course, they still rely on the Bosch CX drive and a large 750 Wh battery. The geometry and features are convincing and make the new Cube E-MTB perhaps the best all-rounder in the entire range of the manufacturer from Upper Palatinate.
Price: € 6.999
The Levo Comp Alloy shows that the Californians from Specialized can not only impress in the high-price segment. With the in-house full power 2.2 motor including 700 Wh battery, you don't have to make any compromises when it comes to the drive and the equipment of the aluminum full-size truck is also consistently solid. It inherits its versatility and well-balanced geometry from the premium models in the range.
Price: € 6.000
Thanks to its slim full carbon frame and the innovative integration of the 750 Wh battery, the Bulls Sonic EVO AM-SL 1 is surprisingly light on its feet. With 85 Nm of torque, the Shimano EP6 is in no way inferior to its big brother EP8. A perfectly functioning SR Suntour chassis and the widely graduated 11-speed gears round off the attractive and, above all, light overall package.

E-MTBs 2024: These are the top 3 in the Light E-MTB category
Actually, the Scarp from KTM is the sporty race fully for marathon riders and XC pilots. In its Light E-MTB version, the Austrians not only give it the Bosch SX motor and removable 400 Wh battery, but also a decent amount of extra suspension travel. At 140 mm, it's more in the “down-country” league and shouldn't do badly as a trail bike - even though its racing DNA isn't just visually unmistakable.
Price: € 11.099
Expectations met! As the successor to one of the first light e-MTBs ever, the Levo SL had big shoes to fill in its second generation. However, with the new, more powerful Specialized SL 1.2 motor, significantly more modern geometry and unchanged versatile driving behavior, this can be achieved almost effortlessly.
Price: € 14.000
The Lyke CF is a special light e-MTB in many ways. For example, there is the innovative integration of the Fazua Ride 60 motor, which allows the 430 Wh battery to be removed via the bottom bracket and is partly responsible for the low weight of well under 18 kg. Its concept as a lively trail bike with 140 mm of travel has also become rare these days.
