Tudor is driving a Grand Tour for the first time
Things are looking up steeply for the Swiss racing team You sleep. As the organizer RCS Sport announced, the team will receive for the Giro d'Italia 2024 a wild card. This is the first time in their short history that the Red and Blacks are taking part in a Grand Tour. We can also welcome Team Tudor to the Tirreno-Adriatico long-distance race and the Strade Bianche and Milan-Sanremo one-day races. It wasn't until the 2023 season that the luxury watch manufacturer entered professional cycling as its namesake. Tudor took over the Swiss Racing Academy, which was founded in 2019, and was able to make some notable transfers this winter. The Italians Alberto Dainese and Matteo Trentin, among others, are now driving for the team, as is the Australian Michael Storer. Six German professionals are also there: Marco Brenner, Mika Heming, Alexander Krieger, Marius Mayrhofer, Florian Stork and Hannes Wilksch Tudor under contract.
Uno-X Mobility is foregoing the Giro d'Italia
The team voluntarily forgoes the Giro d'Italia Uno-X Mobility. The Norwegian team wants to focus fully on the Tour de France. The yellow and red jerseys can be seen at Tirreno-Adriatico, Strade Bianche and Milan-Sanremo. The gas station chain has been sponsoring the team since 2017. Since the company is only based in Norway and Denmark, the squad currently only includes drivers from these two nations. The racing team emerged from the Ringeriks – Kraft team, which was founded in 2010.
