The Urban Arrow is one of the very early family bikes and is a common sight in the cityscape in many places. The bike in “Long John” format is available with different engine variants – Bosch Active, Performance and Cargo. When configuring, you should think carefully about how large the payload is and how steep any climbs are. Up to four children can be taken along - three in the box, one on the rear rack - and the extensive range of accessories includes a canopy and a pushed swing arm instead of the rigid fork.
Price: from € 5.299
The CD2 Family is a true space miracle with a payload of 200 kilos and can accommodate up to four children in its transport compartment. And then there is still enough storage space for luggage in the box between the front wheels. What makes the Nicolais an eye-catcher is its tilting technology, which allows you to move at a fast pace without the risk of tipping over when the road is stable. On board are Bosch Cargo Line with a 750 Wh battery and the continuously variable Enviolo hub in the “Heavy Duty” version.
Price: from € 8.490
The Kettler with the large loading platform in front of the handlebars is designed for a permissible total weight of 250 kilos. In addition to the Enviolo gear hub, belt drive and “Bosch Cargo Line” motor, the suspended swing arm with the steering hub is a technical highlight of the bike, for which there are various bodies available, from transporting loads to children. The adjustable steering column and the spring-loaded, lowerable seat post ensure comfort, and the 750 Wh battery provides a long range.
