Bicycle tire lever test: Wera offers a 2-part tire lever set for mobile and stationary use with the Bicycle Set 13. The levers, which are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, can do more than "just" service the tires - one of the two models has one additional 1/4″ hexagon socket for bits.

Wera Bicycle Set 13 tire levers: First impression
The Wera Bicycle Set 13 contains two tire levers made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. However, the levers are not identical. The tire lever 9502 has a 1/4″ hexagon socket for bits, while the tire lever 9503 comes with a valve extractor for Presta valves. Otherwise there is no difference between the two models. The shovels are designed slim, which should allow easy insertion under the tire bead. There is also a spoke hook on each lever. The protruding brand logo is used for practical clipping.
The bicycle tire levers in the test
The tire levers from Wera are neatly finished and, in combination with the ergonomic design and the rough surface, enable a firm grip. The high flexural strength of the glass fiber reinforced plastic ensures that the force is transferred effectively. The thinly designed shovels can easily be pushed under stiff tire beads and the integrated additional functions can be quite useful in individual cases. Unfortunately, we also have to complain about a total failure: During the test, one of the two levers (9503) broke.
