Bicycle tire lever test: With the SKS orange color scheme, the SKS Levermen set of 3 is certainly one of the most striking representatives in our bicycle tire lever test. The levers are made of heavy-duty plastic and are equipped with an SV key and AV bleeder. We took a closer look at the inexpensive set in the test.

SKS Levermen: First impression
The set of 3 is made of dimensionally stable high-performance plastic. Both the rounded edges and the rough surface promise a secure grip and comfortable working. In addition to the solid shovel, each tire lever also has a spoke hook on one side. The levers are also equipped with an SV key to be able to loosen or tighten the inner valve. The AV vent on the back allows the air pressure to be regulated. However, the possibility of plugging them together was dispensed with.
The bicycle tire levers in the test
Apart from the color design in SKS orange, the SKS tire levers appear relatively inconspicuous. What is striking, however, is the stability of the levers, which are just over 100 millimeters long. Even stubborn tires can be pulled off the rim or balanced on the rim quite easily thanks to the high dimensional stability. The shovel is a bit thicker, which means that a little more force is required when pushing under the tire bead, but the levers are surprisingly robust. Only the spoke hook is not always 100% secure on wide rims.
