Radon Render 8.0 Raffle: Models like the Render are the future of mountain biking. Because thanks to the powerful drive à la Bosch Performance Line CX, a competent all-rounder with a high fun factor can be constructed: uphill just as competent as downhill, just as suitable as a touring bike as for the bike park. And the best thing is: Velomotion is giving away a Radon Render 8.0!
Choosing a mountain bike? That used to be a science in itself and often enough an experiment with an uncertain outcome. Because in the colorful world of classic Fullys it wasn't that easy to find your way around. It all started with the question of what kind of routes you were traveling on and how much suspension travel you needed: rather little, which meant that the decision tended towards cross-country fully, or was it more, so that the journey went towards all-mountain or even enduro?
And these questions had to be answered, because this was followed by issues such as weight and drivability downwards. The light race fully with narrow tires was not up to certain descents, and with the long travel chassis and the wide studded tires of a freerider you didn't really want to ride long climbs.
Radon Render 8.0 – all-rounder with massive suspension travel
But now all that is over - and the scene has the electric drive to thank for that. With the motor support, the issue of weight has moved into the background, and the chassis kinematics no longer have to be quite as sophisticated. If the rear end wobbles a bit when going uphill – so what? With a high-torque E-MTB drive, you can easily crank up just about anything. A soft-tuned fork? It's always possible, because it's no longer the case that you torment yourself when pedaling out of the saddle and annoyingly press the fork down. And that's how you can imagine yourself with a bike like the Render 8.0 625 vom Bonn direct provider Radon treat yourself to the luxury of 160 mm spring travel at the front and 140 mm at the rear - a real enduro chassis, which is all-round suitable for touring thanks to the powerful Bosch CX motor on the Radon. Anyone who "just wants a mountain bike" used to reach for a hardtail with a 100 mm fork - today you can relax and choose an E-Fully and get optimum rideability on any terrain, paired with maximum comfort. And thanks to the lowerable seat post (with a stroke of 125 or 150 mm, depending on the frame size), you no longer have to pay attention to every centimeter of the frame size.
Lots of technology for MTB gourmets
With the Render, Radon not only appeals to off-road enthusiastic recreational athletes, but also has some delicacies to offer for experienced mountain bikers. A lightweight carbon frame helps bring the Render 8.0's weight down to around 24 pounds; the SUNringlé wheelset combines low weight with high resilience. The Fox chassis offers a wide range of adjustment options. Of course, the Radon comes with a wide range of twelve-speed gears – 10-51 cassette and 34 chain ring – which also goes very well with the Bosch Performance Line CX. Because the e-bike-specific drive not only impresses with its decent torque, but also with its sensitive response at high pedaling frequency. High-quality add-on parts from RaceFace and e*thirteen round off the Radon Render, which has another surprise in store: at 4.599 euros, it doesn't cost any more than many non-motorized enduro bikes. And so it is finally clear that the future belongs to models like the Bonn all-rounder off-road.
