Cycling: Emanuel Buchmann has secured the German championship title on the road for the second time in his career. The pro from the Bora-hansgrohe team won in Bad Dürrheim after 215 kilometers.
Buchmann WINS in front of two teammates
On a very bumpy 215-kilometer route from Donaueschingen to Bad Dürrheim Emmanuel Buchman secured the German championship. Around 50 kilometers after the start, the German professional team Bora – hansgrohe got serious. After a drastic increase in speed, the later winner was able to break away from the already severely decimated main field. The 30-year-old extended his lead to more than two minutes almost effortlessly, also because his teammates behind him took every flow from the escape group. Later in the race could also Nico Denz and Maximilian schachmann loosen to perfect the bora podium.
