Cycling: Jonas Vingegaard is the dominator of the Critérium du Dauphiné. The Dane also won the seventh stage and is thus close to the overall victory.

The Jumbo – Visma team has once again proven that they are currently the measure of all things in road cycling. After perfect preliminary work, the captain won after 147,9 kilometers from Porte-de-Savoie to the Col de la Croix de Fer jonas vingegaard confidently with a lead of 41 seconds Adam Yates (UAE). The Dane left no doubt that he is currently the best climber in the world. Third place secured Jay Hindley (Bora – hansgrohe), who was able to move up to fourth place in the overall ranking.
